Bad movie. Foster's character manages to maintain the same bored expression throughout the movie - whether its watching a mob hit or feeding her cat. Shortly, after witnessing a brutal murder, she's rolling her eyes at the police station like nothing ever happened. I love her acting ordinarily, but she's wooden in this movie. Find something else. The parade of well known names doesn't add anything to the movie whatsoever.

Really? A convict on the run with cops and dogs swarming every direction and the convict builds a campfire and goes to sleep? Don't even get me started on the insipid scene where Paul and Wendy come across him. I ended the movie right there.

An excellent satirical critique of privileged white suburbia and gender roles. Jim Deferio, one of the reviewers here, hilariously reveals himself as the prototype for the bland, repressive, white patriarchy that Ira Levin was mocking. No wonder Jim took such offence at the movie.

Boring and careless movie. I lost interest as soon as the agents started collecting evidence without wearing gloves. They couldn't even bother with even the smallest detail to make the scene realistic.

Do you think a cop would keep the window curtains open at all times, lock their doors and check the backseat of their vehicles while a serial killer is on the loose? My god, this is a bad movie

Great movie with genuinely scary parts. Followed the book as best as possible. The book is lengthy, would need 5 movies to reflect it perfectly.

The worst movie I have ever seen.

Ewan Mcgregor's character is ridiculous + sexist. The whole movie is hackneyed, over sentimental, full of racial stereotypes and white wealthy angst.
