Completely unrealistic. If you have been anywhere near drug problems you’ll immediately notice how naive and immature the perspective is. Anyone who related to this was sheltered and created fantasies based on gossip and rumors. It’s like a 40 year-old home-schooled person that is trying to imagine what it’s like for modern teenagers. The dialogue is so cringey that I can almost guarantee we will view this like we currently view 13 reasons why in a couple years. The cinematography was exceptional and the acting was good considering the mess they were working with. It’s good if you view it like a comic book, super cheesy, full of “gotcha” type quips, but if viewed as a realistic portrayal of modern high school life, it’s abysmal.
