I have always been fascinated with the various neighborhoods of Philadelphia, particularly since I grew up in Nicetown. Joseph covers the time in Philly's history when these neighborhoods defined the city by the type of people who lived there and the work that they did. It's an interesting look back by about 120 years and will answer many questions, starting with, "How did we get to where we are today?" I highly recommend Joseph's book.
