Interesting personal accounts of those caught up in the war on both sides, although much of the history is familiar. I don't like David Olosugo's delivery though or his habit of running a finger along the writing he is reading, like a child would do.

Interesting but agonisingly slow with so much repetition.

I understand a certain amount of changes have to be made to transfer a book to the screen, but this was just a box ticking exercise with changes that were irrelevant to the plot. Didn't bother watching after the first episode.

So glad this is fiction. If I was lying there dying but had to wait until the fire fighters had sorted their personal lives out before getting attention I would be pretty pd off!

Watching this in the UK I love to see the large light filled houses and I do like white and blue designs. However, they do seem to make some strange decisions. In the mid century granny flat, why not put the bed where the kitchen was and make an actual bedroom, whilst putting the kitchen in the same room as the sofa like every other makeover?? And for the price paid on one kitchen makeover I would expect the cabinets to go right along the wall, not just room for a stool. Seems to be design over practicality. A bit of a one trick pony, but one who wears nice blouses!! Where does she shop for clothes 🤔🤔

Agree with the feedback on here, being ex Navy, it is very inaccurate as to procedure etc. Missed a whacking great ship mate?? Nearly caused a collision? Buck yourself up! Laughable. Difficult to hear some of the dialogue too. However, I like Suranne Jones as an actress and will continue to watch as entertainment.

Enjoy this programme although I wish they weren't always rushing to do too much. Judges are harsh but usually fair. Presenters are puerile and unnecessary, hence the missing star!

I don't always agree with which painting is chosen each week but by the end of the competition the winner does usually have an agreeable style and produces a recognisable work that will fit within the commission brief. This year was a disappointment and i feel the judges were purely looking for the controversial, not the talent. Perhaps it's time to change judges??

They seem a nice couple, but do make some odd design decisions. Why keep putting pass-throughs high up instead of a peninsular unit between the kitchen and living room?

Fairly entertaining but I will stick to the books, which are superb. Casting is awful, particularly Cisco, who I presume thinks all bikers growl like an engine when they talk! And people who 'drive' whilst not looking at the road are my personal bugbear.
