I went into the first half of this documentary with an open mind, willing to listen to the facts of the case, but all I found was a documentary meant to show one side of the story. They bring up her past trauma, talk about her character, talk about how the case was unfair, but never actually talk about the trial in great detail. They place the blame on someone else, which may be true, but they basically went over NONE of the facts that led to her being put on death row. You donโt get death row in Texas, especially in the 2000s, simply for neglect.
How can you expect us, the viewers, to come up with a proper opinion when you frame this case in such a specific way?
