This game as of right now is a flawed masterpiece. I played this on hard and loved every second of it. The game is full of atmosphere and the city felt alive in a way I've never experienced before. The game is beautiful, the art style is perfect and only adds to the world you will inhabit.
The gameplay is something to get used to. This isn't call of duty or halo. So you cant expect yourself to run in guns blazing all the time (unless you play on an easier difficulty). But this is because you're just another regular dude in night city. It takes a while to get used to, but eventually it'll start to make sense.
The characters and acting ESPECIALLY from Keanu Reeves' Johnny Silverhabd are out of this world. Over the time in the game you will grow attached to his character and see his opinions rubbing off on you - changing the decisions you would make without him. There are plenty of different side characters too, some that you can romance depending on your sexual preference and gender. All with interesting stories missions - my favourite being when you get Samurai back together.
This game isn't without its issues though. As I said this is a flawed game. The close combat and fist fighting is buggy, janky and awkward. It takes a lot longer to get used to and I wouldn't recommend doing it. The street racing eas also buggy. Id drive through terrain that didn't exist and on imaginary roads that hadn't loaded in. Its easier to do than the fist fighting, but still really annoying at times. I crashed maybe 6 times while playing over 40+ hours. But I was able to counteract that by saving regularly, which I would highly recommend.
There were other bugs too, but visual bugs aren't serious as they don't actually impact the gameplay. But why would I give this a 5/5 and not a 4 or a 3? This is because this game was made by CDPR and I know in a few months this game will be patched and supported for years to come - just like witcher 3. If you are patient with CyberPunk this will be an experience you will not forget. You will also realise that lots of people are overreacting, I've seen plenty of other games release in a far worse state and there was no reaction.
This game is worth every penny and more. Once this game is in a better state, it will become the next skyrim.
Now if you're desperate to play a single player game with a story so rich you could get diabities, this is the game for you. But if you're willing to hold off and wait for patches, I implore you to avoid all the spoilers until you get your hands on this game.
