When an actor portrays a detective/police officer, using a whispering voice makes the part less convincing. That's the case here and it only adds to the monotonous pace of the movie.
It's a very predictable flick, it contains elements that can be found in other movies, and the actors are not a good match with their roles.
It's strange to see Lucas Haas as a predator and it's painful to see Meghan Fox try to be a tough cop, let alone to carry a fighting scene with her now ex MGK.
Some things happen with no logic and you're not given an explanation for it, either.
A mediocre movie, in my opinion.
