I know some of you are skeptical to watch melodramatic series but Something in the Rain is an exception.
There was no counterfeit air about the show, simply unadulterated human sentiments and communication, complete crudeness.
What I adored most was the means by which, they simply let the characters be. That way it looked increasingly normal, without that dramatization impact, to where it felt here and there that I was cresting into their lives.
The scenes are reviving and not in the 'overwhelming' range. They are so realistic and subtle, which is something I loved about. Themes of taboos are also highlighted.
A gem with brilliant soundtracks, outstanding cinematography, good direction, and a delightful setting.
