Trading on past glories, Doctor Who is a shadow of its past selves. Current series with Gatwa is pulling out all stops to be hip with the youngsters and is all the more poorly written and made for it.

Very average reboot/continuation. The characters seem like hollow shells of their originals, and the amount of woke being forced into the scripts is jarring and painful. The loss of the Samantha character has a bigger impact overall that I believe the creators had hoped; some spark is missing.

Classic from the era, better than you'd expect. Peter Cushing shows up to add some class, and some menace. Overall fun and tense.

A jumbled mess of an episode with no direction, poor acting, unfunny jokes and abysmal special effects and CGI. Just awful. Not a promising start to this series.
