This movie should have been great. It had the storyline of the most successful Bond movie of the 60s, a great director, an award winning cinematographer, and a great composer, and of course the best Bond of all time Sean Connery. Despite all these elements, Never say Never again feels cheap like a made for television movie. The camera framing is consistently tight, the action sequences aren't particularly exciting, the music is terrible and the pacing is far too slow. Watching Thunderball makes you want to go to the tropics for a holiday, but Never say never again is just dull and boring
