I have been waiting for this! The only reason it's 4 stars is because there was an excess of explanation in the first half of the book. If, like me, you decided to re-read "Shades of Grey" ready (haha) for Red Side then this is quite redundant. Once I got past all that re-hashing and excess focus on the gyro bike I was absolutely in it. I cried twice. I wondered if this was how it felt to try and escape from a dictatorship. I read the last page twice and tears were pouring down my cheeks. I really do hope for book 3 without the excessive repetition of what we have already read. Red. Thank you J F, you are a treasure.

Got these in the 90's as they came out and was absolutely enthralled. Must be time to re-read! Extremely violent and sort of makes me think of a 'Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' vibe. A heroine with clothes on, who'd have thought?
