I can't watch a movie that is set in Spain with supposedly native Spanish speakers speaking to each other in English the whole time with fake accents. It's super cringe for me. It takes the entire authenticity piece and just throws it out the window. I used to read children's versions of the book as a child and have read the Spanish original version, and then I am delighted to find that there is a modern adaptation and it has some Spanish guy running around as Don Quixote talking to everyone in English and reading English. Why the hell would people in Spain talk to each other in English? CRINGE.
