Very irritating. Disjointed. Unnecessarily detailed. And worst of all incomplete. Giving unwanted details, and concealing the most crucial ones. Felt incomplete. Frustrating.
As if author intended to win Nobel by sheer literary force of this book alone. Author's ambition has killed the author, and he forgot the basic job of a writer. Nowhere near the English Patient. A pure headache

I don't know why critics are bent upon panning this movie. This is one of the most exhilarating visual treats in the recent times. Great movie. Undoubtedly the best in monsterverse so far.
