Marshall Mabry

While I have some personal favourites from Lana's older work, this is absolutely the highest quality and most cohesive album of hers yet. It is original, authentic, and the natural evolution of her career. No feeling of pretense or like she's trying to make music that people already want to hear (See: Lust for Life). This is an album that makes you want to find more music just like it, not music just like what you've already heard from another artist. A complete triumph.
