This is literally my favorite Video Game of all time (though Splatoon 3 might beat it). If you are seeing that the game is only single player per console and that it advertised wrong in some of the one star reviews, they're wrong. The box says on the back that the game is only one player, and that multiplayer requires multiple systems and copies of the game. For those who complain about it being too cartoony and silly, THAT'S THE POINT. This is a NINTENDO game after all. The game is made to be suitable for kids and adults alike. If you don't like it, that's just your personal opinion. I play other games that are easily for much older people (Like Overwatch for example) and I still think this game is a stroke of Nintendo genius. The story may be short, and the Octo Expansion DLC is $20 (It's every bit worth it though I have over 10 hours on the Octo Expansion alone and it provides a good challenge) the Octo Expansion is not required to play the game. The only extra purchase necessary to play is the Nintendo Switch Online subscription, and trust me, those of us who're long time and intense Nintendo fans hate the NSO too.

This game is amazing. From the story, to the art style to the music, Ni No Kuni II is well worth playing.
