I just put this book down a few seconds ago after holding it close to me and reminiscing over everything I have just read. Where do I start? I really enjoyed “Find me,” as it is written with the magic of “Call me by your name” but in a more grown up setting. I understand how people may see this book as a disappointing sequel to the stunning love story. Contrary to this I think that Find me gave the love in Call me by your name more depth, as it shows the life long impact it had on all of the people involved ( not to mention the millions of people like me who have fallen in love with their story). I enjoyed hearing about Samuel and Miranda, as it was an ode to old beginnings and new beginnings. Find me teaches us that the weight of a true love is so great, that it can “kill you” if you do not chase after what you know is so right. Samuel and Miranda’s child being named Oliver was so special in its self, but it was an excellent color thrown in that Elio and Oliver regarded him as their own child, or creation in a sense. I had a great experience reading Find me because It confirmed that the romance between Elio and Oliver will never die. Anyways, I can go on and on about this but I think I have already written more than enough. I hope everyone who reads Find me Embraces it as much as I have.❤️
