I thought it would be better if the thriller series instead are packed with some form comedy slapstick on how the guy chases or woo the girl. Any hinderances should resolve with interesting strategic ideas suggested by the bookstore manager’s regular customers or his colleagues... or even somebody he bumps into the streets. He would desperately ask him for any BGR tips.
The drama sequence is quite expected; the audience more or less could gauge the consequences. For example, if he encounters a scientific problem his new “the one” girlfriend had in her college research papers, the guy could go into a scene where he waited for the Big Bang Theory nerdy professor and consulted him for advice. More laugh and humour would result in seeing familiar characters “borrowed” or lend a cameo role???
