Being just over 40, I didn't know what to expect from this movie. Boy, did it blow my expectations out of the water! All the references to the games brought back so much nostalgia. There were so many characters, from Diddy Kong to Bloopers (squid) and Bullet Bills. The sounds of the games were so cleverly added all throughout the movie. The 80s songs selected were tied in perfectly to the scenes they were in. The end credit made way for a sequel (won't spoil it). I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and I recommend it to everyone, young or old!!
