'15 Strangers - Conversations That Mean a Lifetime' is the type of book that is usually out of my reading range, but boy am I glad i read it. The book is about how it is important to communicate with others whether they are strangers or not because you never know the lessons in life you may learn from them. This book is filled with such deep and profound lessons and very thought-provoking quotes that make you want to go out and lend your ear to someone that may need it. This book made me open my eyes to the fact that I need to be ready to listen and I need to be ready to hear out others when they need to vent. It made me want to go out to a nursing home and just be there for the elderly that have no one else to talk to. It made me want to wrap my arms around people who are hurting because their voices aren't being heard. My only problem was that I only speak English and there is some Hindi mixed in, but that does nothing to the score I give to this book. I give this book a solid 5/5 stars! It has become one of those books that I recommend everyone to read at least once in their life and I highly recommend those that read it to really ponder on the profound lessons you will find in this gem of a book. The author should be proud of himself because he has given us a book filled with wisdom and heartwarming and oftentimes, heartbreaking stories that are told to help us realize that others need an ear and hopefully after reading this book, you will be more willing to lend that ear when you meet your next stranger in your life that needs to talk. Remember, we can be the person that can bring happiness to others' lives just by listening to them when they have no one else to turn to. I will let my favorite quote from the book do the rest of the talking.
"Every face has its own story."
