This was a pathetic movie. Cliche after cliche, aw man! I love Eastwood too, but this was just terrible. Acting was painful, horrible and one liners were lame. The only good part- tons of car crashes. And I guess Tom Skerritt. He was ok.

This show starts out interesting and compelling but gets inconsistent and the characters end up flat. What seems like a potential for cracking the mystery towards the end turns into a sappy finale of typical left leaning climate messaging that made me sorry I even watched.

Yes Sandler is really good as a totally stressed out jerk, which is spot on, but the pace and vibe is so stressful it isn't easy to watch. The music is horribly irritating which is probably what they were going for, adding to the tension, but it made the frenzied feeling even more annoying. Not a great film, not a bad film but not a movie I can recommend unless you enjoy art films.
