Guys, let's be honest the acting was indeed spectacular. The movie itself was depressing and tried to turn a comic book villain into a real person via this new movie. If this movie hadn't been called joker, I think it might have been at cannes film festival were I'm sure there are more in depth movies on mental illness and it's effects. While the acting was amazing, the movie was slow and pretty boring for the majority of it, It felt to me like a cashing in on a dc supervillain name, but as long as you know what your going to watch in advance maybe that's ok, I personally wanted something more
