I was so hyped for this game, but this game is largely unfinished. After enjoying the rest of the souls titles, I had high hopes for Elden Ring. What a let down. For starters, they made the mistake of choosing "quantity" over quality. The map is HUGE. But I would have been much happier with a smaller world with better details and more realistic AI. This game just feels years behind it's time. Hardly anything about the world feels natural. The world just feels empty and boring. The plot and features are heavily lacking. The story is essentially nonexistent. People are giving this game way too much credit. Unless you're a die-hard Dark Souls fan that is willing to overlook all the flaws in this game, I wouldn't recommend buying it. At the very least, watch some gameplay videos before deciding whether it is buying now or waiting for until the game is finished. I really hope they continue to work on and improve this game, because the potential is there. It just needs A LOT of work to catch up to other new titles. As it stands, this plays more like a $20 title.
