I'm going to apologize beforehand if this review is a little sloppy as I feel jaded by this steaming pile of garbage Naughty Dog calls a game and I don't want to waste another second thinking about it. The only redeeming qualities were its silky-smooth gameplay mechanics and graphics (It's another one of those all flash no substance games). The story is terribly crafted with characters making decisions that make no sense in any regard, decisions that any real human being would never make. Whole portions of plot rely solely on convenient timing and serendipity, and there are forced characters in this game left and right. There were so many instances of the "let me knock the main character out real quick to transport us both to somewhere new and forward in the narrative" that I was seriously wondering how everyone wasn't in a vegetative state by the end of the game. My number one pet peeve with this game is the lack of choice both in how the game goes and the actions you take. At no point whatsoever are you ever truly in control of the narrative, the narrative is giving you false choices and hoping you will not notice. I was a huge fan of the first game and this was not what I wanted at all. I am friends with many fans of this game too and it wasn't what they wanted either. From the looks of things online, it wasn't what any of them wanted either. Neil Druckmann, stop pretending like all the bad reviews are because you are getting bot spammed and admit that you messed up badly with this game. At least that way you could retain some semblance of respect we have for you as a creator.
