The Detectorists is a beautifully written, acted and shot series, it shows the Classic British eccentrics at their finest. The writing is 1st class with subtle and nuanced performances from the main characters captured sensitively by the writer/director.
Simply a British Comedy Classic in the same league as Dad's Army or Fawlty Towers, its that good.
