They made a truly unsettling movie way too predictable. The art of a good horror movie, is not solely dependent on JUMP SCARES! One of the best features of the original was the soundtrack... truly disappointed with what I heard. Til this day, I shutter at the original soundtrack. The soundtrack that the The Newton Brothers created, wasbtoo predictable.. we've heard it too many times in different films. Just pay whatever royalties that were needed from the original. I would honestly enjoy the money that much more if i heard the original track. On a high, some parts of the movie were really smart but.... I mean.... you get it.
