This movie is a perfect satire of our present “crisis” in reverse. Instead of “we’re all gonna die” that everyone is ignoring….. it’s “we’re all ok and the worst is over” AND EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY THE MEDIA, IS IGNORING IT! Of course there is the climate crisis parallel with the comet and the female version of Trump controlled by billionaires. And scientists yet again being muzzled and ridiculed- sound familiar?! My critique of the movie is it shows only the folly of the conservative right. Which is ridiculous because Biden played a key role in COP-OUT26 revealing his lack of courage and absent political will as much as all the other cop-outs!…. So the bias in the film is also a little delusional at worst. Overall though, well written and wonderfully acted. Once again, just like the Matrix trilogy and others, it is art that beckons us to wake up to our self-destructive denial and suicidal dependence on money.
