I'll tell you this. I am NOT a very big fan of the origami king. That's not to say it isn't a nice game, because it is. But there are a mediocre things that I really don't like about it, but I'll start of with the positives. The soundtrack has a nice, relaxing theme of beauty of the origami. The story is also creative. It is basically paper vs origami, and it's not something you'll likely see in other mario games. The game is also gorgeous. No doubt. While the battle system isn't the best, its much better than color splash. It still kinda feels like the modern games from paper mario sticker star rather than the best of the best, but that is saying no more. The biggest problem is the art style. Holy cow the art style. I'm not a fan of the obsession with the "paper" thing and it's kept being used since sticker star, and it's really getting old. Now obviously no game is perfect, so it kinda makes sense for it to slowly getting better and better instead of just changing immediately. It sounds like that is their main focus, but even then it is really getting tiring. The transition is basically like traveling using airplanes, to traveling using a scooter. Like I wanna see this improve. The ability to change it all, but not this slow.
