Worth watching just for AnnaLynne McCord's unique and disturbing performance, Excision is also clever, stylish and weirdly memorable

Genuinely scary vampires, intense action, solid pacing and decent performances all round (especially Danny Houston as the lead vamp). This is very memorable and stylish and its 51% on Rotten Tomatoes is kind of insulting considering they gave Twight a 49% rating a year later and this is ten times the vampire movie that was.

Some clever ideas but the movie is over-stylised and some of the acting is awful (Cary Elwes). Still, it has a killer ending and it isn't as convoluted and dull as the sequels 3/5

They tell you the twist in the opening scenes lol its so obvious. Other than that its a standard Tarantino/early Guy Richie knock-off with solid acting but cheesy dialouge 2/5

So much better than the Hollywood remake

Just watch the original instead, its smarter, leaner, darker and just an all round better telling of the story.

Although it feels a little rushed and Annette Bening's performance is a little OTT, this is a stylish and quite unique tale with some spooky visuals and a great score and also features a one off performance from Robert Downey JR as the demented child-like child killer (the only time i've seen him as a bad guy) 7/10

Utterly ludicrous and poorly paced but Paul Bettany's character makes it almost worth sitting through

Watchable enough if you can stomach mad mel but Point Blank was better, you cant beat the original

An interesting plot, some nice design work and a fantastic, gloopy final set-piece. Unfortunately the teen protaganists are poorly written and do the dumbest things possible in every scenario which becomes annoying after a while. Ultimately a missed opportunity but worth a watch.
