Just as good if not better than part 1, which was my favourite game of all time. Story was amazing, and they managed to squeeze the console for every last drop of graphics. Incountered one slight graphical bug where in the museum, outlines on the models was hazy, but only in a certain shaft of sunlight, and only in that 1.5m square. Ill honestly be surprised if this doesnt get made into a movie franchise down the road. Well done Naughty Dog. Good game. 9.3/10. Edit: decided to read other reviews especially the bad ones, so spoiler alert from here on out. Abby wasnt a monster in the first chapter. She was doing exactly what Ellie and Tommy were doing for the entire rest of the game. And she didnt help them kids for no reason, she helped them coz they saved her life, and throughout the game, except the Joel incident shes a decent person, albeit an exemplary soldier, who may be the number one Scar killer, but theyre their enemy, and thats her role as a soldier. Joel, and only Joel, is the only person to single handedly doom all of mankind to have to live in fear of being infected. If not for him, theoretically, all the main centres could be immunised, the last of the infected wiped out, and the cities could be fungus free in a decade, if not already. So although hes my favourite character of all, he definitely had it comming. Also, people saying the devs spat on his memory, id have to say they made him even more endearing, kind hearted, and thoughtfull than the first game, unless thats what you didnt like. For the people who thought the lighting was bad, when u set up the HDR, theres sliders to make sure the brights arent too bright, and the darks arent too dark. May i suggest using them, then adjusting your brightness to suit your tastes. And for the people that say "in the end they all end up with nothing, whats the point?", well, that is the point. One of my favourite parts is when she comes back to an empty house, tries to play guitar, and realises that she lost the last part of Joel from her own volition.
