All the thrusting while drinking her blood, her screaming he's coming and gyrating on the bed, the rat eating the girls tit, the husband comiting necrophilia on his dead wife in her tomb while coughing blood and actively dying from the plague, found inside her dead, nosferatu having a huge lump on his forehead the size of a kickball, and basically being all pus covered and mummified, the whole thing really was STUPID. Gothic my a$$. I read smut and this was effing retarded.

Whoa! Way better than I expected. All the elements are accurate and the characters don't just die right away, but inside endure a hellish wild ride to their death. The story is well written and I enjoyed the build up to who the "bad guys" actually were. Imaging going through those situations was way more of a thriller than the originals. The hikers who stumbled upon these people only to have their eyes burned out and be thrown into darkness, emaciated and dirty, now that was pretty gripping. Loved the length of the film. Some leave you wanting more, but this was appropriate to tie up loose ends and finalized all the character story lines appropriately. Def recommend.

Loved the consistency in this film. It was thoroughly thought out and presented from start to finish. Im a cinephile and have seen all the be quiet flicks including foreign. This film grips you from the beginning and has everything you need, mythology, personal struggles, suspenseful encounters, blood and death, and a dystopian type feel. Loved it.
