The book was fantastic. The movie tried to pack a lot into 2 hrs 14 mins. It wasn't enough time. There were some great parts of the book sacrificed, but that is the case for any movie based off a book, therefore many fans of a movie's subject book walk away somewhat disappointed. I think the producers did a great job trying to capture a wider audience. Well done. Actors were good choices and did a tremendous job. Thumbs up. Beats the humdrum same old plots movie after movie on the Hallmark Channel. Hallmark should take notice and make changes. Lots of good reads out there that would make decent Hallmark movies without the same old plot movie after movie....boring.
