I find that investigators treat their opinions and feelings as evidence which it is not. One episode concerned two women who may or may not have committed suicide. The first had just learned her husband was having an affair. They said this was a motive for him committing murder and did not even mention that it was also a motive for suicide. They ignore so many things trying to have the murderer (they think) indicted. No way most DAs would indict on their so called evidence. Hard to believe one is supposedly a lawyer.
