Forgotten Fridays #1 Here's an absolute smash, straight classic, monumental vibes that were completely overlooked at the time. Rest of the album is pretty decent too. With the 80's returning in full form recently in the indie world (various 'wave' genres). By this point, Jeff Lynne's harmony stacking was just getting ridiculous, to the point of the vocal melody just being one melded menagerie of musical madness. For a long time, probably the mid 90's to early 2010's- this kind of music was labeled as 'dated', I think with the resurgence of the 80's influence on music genres and in mainstream pop culture (Stranger Things etc, WW84), we can remove that label- but for how long?
