From my point of view, ghost dog despite its overwhelming fascination with the samurai profession and also its thoughtful look and aphorisms is unprofessional and weak in storytelling and characterization; Even the battle sequences are amateurish; overall the ghost dog has nothing for me to offer except for the Beautiful interpretations.
