One of the best debut’s of a detective series ever. Dave Robicheaux is a complex character and Burke writes with the descriptive style of Chandler. You can smell the beignet’s and see the skies of New Orleans, The Neon Rain is a fantastic read.

Completely and utterly original. Beautifully acted, and the over all look and feel of the film is haunting and affecting. This is a film that breathes and allows the audience to let it sink in gradually. Nicholas Cage is a master actor and this fine film adds to his wide ranging and accomplished career.
