While the plot is multilevel and engaging, the story is naive and overly melodramatic. The main characters were poorly performed and/or created. The dialogue between them was cheesy and repetitive of love declarations or accusations. Elif was supposed to be a strong woman, however, she doesn't know what she wants demanding that Omer quits being a cop. Her character is very inconsistent as she pretends to be understanding but does act as a spoiled child pretty often. Overly exaggerated weak performance of the actress. Omer's character is also unconvincing - being a good professional, at times he reacts so impulsively which is inconsistent with being a good cop. My admirations for professional acting and creating powerful characters go to Melike and Faith! Great work of those two actors! Scenery was beautiful, traditions and culture were interesting, however, the plot was predictable and the secondary characters were much more convincing than the main ones. The series would have been better if they ended within the first third of the episodes.
