Ana is visually amazing, appropriately in a very other-worldly sense. So much so that I was quite literally stunned when she made her initial appearance. Very entertaining and amusing her perfectly delivered sarcastic lines. Don’t think it was intended, but she is definitely the star of the show and carries the rest of the cast, although they are certainly not bad. It comes off much more like a dark comedy than a scary horror movie which in a way makes it more watchable. The infinite loop of different ‘Mother’ personas is rather ridiculous. Would have been nice if the story was more compelling, but I enjoyed watching it just to see and hear super entertaining other-worldly Ana. What an amazing looking woman! Oh yeah, her side-kick in her ‘business’ ventures is also very fun to watch.
