I truly enjoyed the pilot, and I took some time today to watch it again to try to get more into the characters. Pilots often throw out everything they can to get a person hooked; I already was hooked because I remember watching the original series when I was a young girl in the 70’s. I look forward to how the series gets fleshed out (hello, mythical sword with magic powers?!?) and how the characters develop, but I hope the writers stay away from formulas and clichés. Be bold, you have a talented team on camera! The cast is solid; I love seeing the familiar faces and some fresh new ones. My particular favorite moment was when Henry (Eddie Liu) stepped into the fight and gave that little mischievous smile!
