This film is a must-see for many reasons, but mainly because there is much more here than meets the eye. Peele takes a simple concept and transforms it into one of your greatest nightmares never been told. His story-telling unravels with timing that is uncanny, through metaphors that, at first, may seem confusing and complex but in reality are quite simple. The verbal and nonverbal cues portrayed by his characters (especially Nyong'o) hint at what ends up confirming their fate. The music further adds more intensity as does each and every movement among these characters as they interact together throughout the movie. Us has set a new bar for horror films because it takes things we naturally adore in life and twists them into nothing short of evil and disturbing in all of their symbology within the plot. Pay close attention here as this is one story you don't want to miss!
