It was all I could do to get through the 1st episode. I didn’t care for the writing. It wasn’t reminiscent enough for me. The trash PC influence was bad. It seemed very clunky, forced and it wasn’t convincing/ believable. Of course, all the pathetic advertisements didn’t help the story along at all either. After playing Halo for decades, I was truly disappointed.

Loved this series. One of the few that I can recommend.

I've got a bad feeling about this... Season 2 episode 1 is just bad on so many levels. I really don't understand all the blind fan fare! This has the look and feel of a budget series like Night Rider. Just slap the pricey $$$$ Star Wars tm on it and we're in business! The sets were dismal, as well as the script! For example, the scavenger Jawas trade valuable armor for the crystals, when they could have easily taken them and left the Marshal for dead, since he was half dead anyway... I mean really! What about the alien bartender with the southern accent? And supporting actors that are now part of the series... I mean this is about The Mandalorian right? We don't have enough creativity to produce a series without a ton of marketing rabbit trails? I really thought that Miss Kennedy had some redemption with season 1, but I believe people will be calling for her resignation after this is over... I'm all for it at this point!
