From a modern cinematography standpoint, the show is a remarkably faithful adaption to a live action series based from an anime. It is arguably one of my favorite adaptations of all time. You can really feel the spirit of love and attention to detail throughout the series. They remain faithful to the anime, while adding a modern day mature twist.
