Really, try hard and predictable. All 4 of us watching it said what an awful film. Main actor trying to act a bit like Ben Stiller on bits and we predicted everything they did to try and make it a comedy before it happend. Unlikeable mother and young son, just embarrasing and grass. However, we kept watching it to the end out of curiosty I guess.

As soon as Brad Pitt comes onto the scene the film dropped. I have never seen him act so badly and his southern accent very misplaced for this role.. The card game scene is drawn out and I am just not keen on the lack of seriousness with this plot. Just didn't work for me and now seen Brad Pitt for the first time in a very disappointing light. It lacks emotion.

Watched this with all the family and all agreed it very 'Cliche' trying too hard to be funny and it wasn't. Found it embarassing as she was trying to be like Briget Jones and a lot of the acting was terrible. Her fake falling over and fake posture whilst running was awful. I am surprised Jennifer Saunders lowered herself to be part of it. However, thought Patrick the dog was the best actor and possibly the girls dad. Even the inbetweeners girl acted a bit naff. Parts like the lady and PE teacher wrestling over the tanoy just wasn't funny. Maybe this was the point of the film and it was done on purpose
