Great RPG fun. (Xbox series X)
It's really strange giving it 5 stars given it's issues but the biggest issue I've had so far are with the graphics, outside of that I've had a blast. The world is great and full of things to discover and despite the poor graphics,it can look really beautiful at times, the combat is incredibly fun and varied, there's plenty of enemies to keep you occupied while travelling as you'll be doing a lot on that.
I've not had any major bugs or game breaking glitches myself but the graphics at times look really bad, which is a shame because it can ruin the experience as the textures look so bland at times. I've played the game for about 7 hours and it's been great, I've barely got any actual missions done because I constantly get sidetracked and lost because there's so many routes and shortcuts, which is something you'll either love or hate but it's definitely something I love, there's also a lot of freedom,so you can pretty much follow whatever path you feel and not feel tied to the main quest. The night/day system is really effective and having the ability to camp also makes exploration less demanding. I do understand it's not been a great experience for a lot of players and there's the added microtransactions, which has definitely gave the launch a lot of unwanted negativity but it's all warranted, companies need to understand they can't be releasing broken games that have working marketplaces for unnecessary microtransactions, i do personally find the game being released in a broken state a much bigger issue myself as at the very least every player should be able to enjoy a game they paid a lot for. I understand that the microtransactions are unnecessary but I've not felt the need to use them and can't imagine I ever will, you can experience the game just the same without them. The game also does lack polish too and it can be a pretty rough experience at times but I still have absolutely loved playing it so far and for me it's shortcomings don't spolt the overall gaming experience, it'll be one that I remember for a very long time.
