spoiler warning this movie was terrible. just because it had good effects and CGI does not make the it good. it is a star wars movie you should expect this form a STAR WARS MOVIE. also Disney made almost everything non cannon then when they need it they pulls it then warps it. so in the end when Rey dies fighting the Palpatine. keylo comes and force heals rey back to life and kissed her which felt super forced like not sense at all. but force never brings people from death. Lets talk about MARY SUE RAY. and don't say Luke was op/a Mary sue. he states in the new he's has learned skills from tatoinee not word for word he states how he learned to shoot. she went from a scavenger Jedi to Jedi master in a course of a month. she was somehow train by Leia who was not even a full Jedi herself. which they straight from legends where Leia was a Jedi. also she is a Palpatine her grandpa is Palpatine which is understandable lets talk about Palpatine and the last fight. some how he was pieced together by henchmen after getting threw in the black abyss in the last Jedi and the death star even blew up. in his same old bodied somehow. that end where everyone was fighting the first + Palpatine and his many many many many star destroyers. forgot to mention that earlier. but when Rey fought Palpatine that was the most weakest fight in the hole of star wars. lighting and no lightsaber combat. not a single swing. look you can't just have the last fight of the saga and not lightsaber combat it was dumb. the whole fight lasted about 2- maybe even 5 minutes tops. then at the end the worse part of the whole was when rey called her self and i quote "Rey Skywalker". don't say leia felt more like family then Palpatine or it is in the name "rise of Skywalker". because just because it is in the name does not mean it going to get a past. also thought the whole movie she is told it not matter what here heritage or last name is or last name embrace it buy throws it all out of the window. she buries Anakin light sabre in sand that was a joke. the only good thing to come out of that was she made here own light sabre. then they shoehorned in a lesbian scene at the very end. first i am a NOT REPEAT NOT homophobic the problem is that they shoved it in for 2 seconds for representation even people complaining about Poe and Finn not kissing just likr the lesbian scene and rey and keylo kissing scene would not have changed the movie in any why shape or form. idc if you loved the movie then great for you. i just want to point out that this movie was a big DISAPPOINTMENT. if want a movie that make sense and respects the franchise then don't watch this movie.
