One of the best I have seen on Netflix. Such intricate and well thought of depiction of that world. Such gripping story line. I grew up in that side of the world, and although not in those times, the culture there in rural areas still remains and depiction seemed accurate. I loved script, acting, directing. Art department 5 stars, you are so talented. A fantastic series, wish they would continue. 💜

Brilliant all the way through. Challenged some of my very old conditioned believes. Never thought I would dare to watch something about “the Devil”, but it’s a must see for anyone of any beliefs. Not only entertaining, well written, well acted and well filmed, but helpful to reconcile some things within your heart on a humanity and divinity levels. Will make you question love, judgement and truth.

It’s brilliant. Hard to stop watching. Gripped my heart all the way through. They make us emphasize with more than one main character, and even with some of main character enemies, which is not that easy to achieve. Often 2 enemies go into a fight and you don’t want either of them to loose. The only crappy write in was the way Ragnar, brother of Uhtred died. It should not have been done that way. Made me really upset with the screenwriters. Shame on you, guys. Really disappointed.
