The ingredients are all there for it to be a Disney great, but somehow it feels flat and doesn't quite pull together to form a classic. Some of the lead roles were excellent, but a lot of the support felt awkward and unnatural. The storyline didn't feel like it flowed and the pacing felt a bit all over the place. Some of the cinematography was beautiful and masterful, yet many scenes felt too staged or out of place. Overall it was too much of a mixed bag to be great, but doesn't deserve some of the backlash it has received, which is in part probably due to the hype.
