Never left a review but I gotta with this movie. All the negative reviews are true and even the five star reviews have some truth. Young tony was good. Heโs not an actor and it worked out great cause heโs supposed to be an adolescent and inexperienced. Tonyโs mom was great, some people said junior wasnโt played right but he cried like he did in the tv show. But the fact we only saw him get upset one time at dickie because he was laughing when he fell and had him โtaken care ofโ after that was stupid. It was a borderline treat for someone who loved the show but just wasnt good. It was all over the place much like my review. Waste of talent. Ray Liotta playing two characters made NO sense and they didnโt even explain it. You find out heโs a twin once you pause the movie and do the math in your head. Some people also criticized Sil but he was way over dramatic in the tv series too it just came more natural with him. The actor in the movie is doing the same thing heโs just not used to doing it for 8 years or however long the show was on. Tony wasnt really in it, most/all the characters are forgettable and all I want to do is watch the series again. Having the riots in the movie was interesting but did little to help the story. I guess in a way it dropped us in on their lives much like the show did, but in a movie format it does not work well. This would have been much better as a mini series. Me and my girl were about to go leave and see it in theaters. Glad we stayed home and watched it. Iโd give it a watch if you liked the show but itโs gonna be a no from me big dog
