Huge Lion King fan here. I was shocked that I did not enjoy it to the extent of my fellow The Lion King lovers. Although visually pleasing, it missed the bar for me. It skipped the magic and artistic flare that the original film had. Characters personalities were diluted or fully dismissed. It was enjoyable but the missed parts were too important for me to ignore. 5.5/10
