I dont care what anybody says, this movie is great at showcasing the struggles of sexuality and finding out about the miracle and pleasures of sex when we are developing. i think this is not just a struggle for those who are religious, but a struggle that EVERYone can relate too. I grew up hearing things about sex because I have religious folks and I had to learn all on my own that it is okay to feel different things and be attracted to people in a sexual way. Maybe this is tmi for the internet but this movie is well done and is a great lesson on how finding out about sexuality and other things is a natural part of life no matter what the bible says.

as a young person who has appreciated all of the gangster/mob movies from the 70's, 80's, and 90's I am happy that during my adult life a new and good gangster film has been produced. I loved Michael gandolfini in this movie and I think he has a great future of acting ahead of him. Although I wish it was more about the young Tony I still very much enjoyed it. I hope upcoming directors will continue the great gangster/mob movie legacies.

This book was good, I enjoyed it. I loved the first and second short stories the most, possibly because it gives me CMBYN vibes. I will say that I think because of the amazing movie and story CMBYN was that it has left people expecting Aciman to write the same kind of man loves man story. He writes about love beautifully whether it is gay or not. I honestly would like to see more of his books be adapted to the screen. Would I read it again? maybe in a couple years. I think it is worth the read.
