Only complaint was that dialogue was sometimes inaudible and I had to rewind and turn on subtitles.
Anyone who says it wasn’t a visual masterpiece said so because they watched it on a bulky box TV from 2 decades ago. Just like the first one, many of the shots look like they should Get framed and put into an art museum. Lighting was innovative and unique.
Las Vegas sets were all really incredible and memorable. Brought me back the the old school vibes of the first film.
A shot that was lacking was probably the junkyard land. Could've made that landscape a bit more interesting than just endless scrap rubble. Also I found it weird that he just crash lands in front of this orphanage/child factory that’s like miles removed from all other civilization. Like I said, could’ve made the area more interesting than endless rubble.
Storytelling was soul crushing and misdirecting. I genuinely felt like I knew as much as the main character did at all times and was misled along side K as I tried to unravel the plot ahead of things being revealed.
Still think Jared Leto slashing the newborn replicant was a bit senseless and insane but it drove home the point of what a crazy monster his character is.
